Amy Apprentice of the Year story

Amy Brown joined Tombs as an apprentice and quickly became part of how the company works: developing her skills on site and contributing to the standard expected across every project.

In 2023, Amy won The Amazon Intermediate Apprentice of the Year Award at The Apprenticeship National Awards, and was later invited to Downing Street with a group of national winners.

Her story reflects something important about Tombs: skill is developed on site, standards are passed on properly, and the people involved in each project are expected to care about the work in front of them.
