Leckhampton

Major refurbishment works with extensions and underpinning works.

Extensions Renovations Leckhampton

Overview

This unmodernised semi-detached house had sat largely untouched for decades, and before any of the visible work could begin it needed serious structural attention. The property was suffering from subsidence, so we started underground — underpinning the affected areas and making the building sound and stable for the long term.

With the foundations put right, we were able to open the house up. The ground floor was reconfigured and extended to create a bright, connected living space, and new openings were introduced throughout to draw in far more natural light than the original layout ever allowed.

The finished home keeps the warmth and character of its original red brick while adding a crisp, contemporary extension at the rear. What was once a tired, problem property is now a spacious, modern family home that shows no trace of where it started.
